What OnCFJ collects

  • When you sign in with Google: your verified email address, a pseudonymous public handle generated for OnCFJ, and the short-lived Google OAuth token used to authenticate your requests. The token stays in extension memory or Chrome's managed cache and is not stored in the OnCFJ database.
  • Content you choose to submit: job records, replies, pulse signals, helpful votes, reports, and issue reports.
  • Visible LinkedIn job identity: job ID and URL, company identity, role, location, work type, posting details, application activity, and visible verification or sponsorship signals.
  • A random extension installation identifier. The server converts it into a different keyed hash for each job before counting a unique reader; it does not store the original identifier.
  • Limited technical request information needed for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. This includes temporarily processing an IP address in memory for anonymous rate limiting. OnCFJ does not store IP addresses in its product tables.

What OnCFJ does not collect

OnCFJ does not read or store job descriptions, recruiter profiles, recommended jobs, your LinkedIn messages, your LinkedIn password, your Google password, your precise or GPS location, or your general browsing history. It does not use LinkedIn internal APIs.

How information is used

Information is used to identify job records, show community context, prevent duplicate votes and records, operate moderation and issue reporting, protect the service, and maintain reliability. OnCFJ does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Service providers and disclosure

OnCFJ uses Google for sign-in and Fly.io for application hosting. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the service, or the public. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and your choices

Community and account data is retained while needed to operate OnCFJ, preserve discussion integrity, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. You can delete your own active job record inside the extension. To request access to or deletion of account information, use the support route below.

Security and age

OnCFJ uses access controls, encrypted transport, scoped browser permissions, and server-side secrets. No system can guarantee absolute security. OnCFJ is not directed to children under 13.
